It depends on size, roof type and equipment, but a useful benchmark for a well-specified grid-tied system in Bangladesh is roughly ৳70–90 per installed watt-peak. A residential rooftop is typically two to five days on site. Industrial systems run from a few weeks to a few months depending on capacity. Net-metering approval runs in parallel and takes four to ten weeks from filing.

Through the monsoon, yes — output falls to roughly 30–50% on heavily overcast days but does not stop, and net-metering credit from the dry season offsets the shortfall. During an outage, a grid-tied system without batteries shuts down for safety; add battery backup if you need essential circuits to stay live.
